Implants

Dental implants is basically artificial roots with crowns on top. They’re used mainly in restorative dentistry to resemble a tooth or group of teeth. Just about all dental implants placed today are root-form endosseous implants, meaning they appear similar to the tooth with its actual root, and are placed within the bone. Dental implants can be used to support a number of dental prostheses, including crowns, bridges or dentures.

Implant dentistry is not a recognized specialty amongst the many areas of dentistry. All doctors that are placing implants should have extensive training in both surgical and prosthetic phases.

Feel free to ask Dr. Mortazie about his training, and ask to see before and after pictures of completed cases!

Do I have enough bone, and enough room for a dental implant?

You have a great question, and should ask Dr. Mortazie during your no-cost, no-obligation consultation. This is a fundamental question that he should already have asked himself, and so will be able to explain it to you as well.

We offer a variety of dental implant services for the highest quality dental care for our patients. We encourage you to learn more about what we provide and how we can help. If you have any questions, please contact us by calling (703) 237-0662. We're always happy to hear from you!
